mono-apache-server software package provides ASP.NET backend for mod_mono Apache module - default version, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mono-apache-server
mono-apache-server is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mono-apache-server package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mono-apache-server *
You will get with mono-apache-server package name, version, architecture and description in a table
